An oil on canvas portrait of three children in the woods in original frame, signed lower left J. Krementz and dated 1911. Joseph Krementz (1840-1928) was born in Germany coming to the United States in 1851 and lived in New Albany, IN and Louisville, KY. A member of The Wonderland Way Art Club, Krementz was an accomplished portrait, landscape artist and photographer who exhibited with James L. Russell and Speed Museum.
